we offered to show the pictures of new plates and expiry or expiration tabs.
We also occasionally put up an older plate which represents an interesting
find by a collector. Some of the links may be getting old from earlier postings.
When we catch them, we update it. If you find a link that doesn't work, let
me know by sending an e mail.Images on these pages come from all over the world. Most of them have been run through Adobe Photo Elements to help sizing, lighting, sharpness, issues of barreling, etc. to get a sense of a straight on shot and more clarity. Since the sources vary, so does the quality. The site has concentrated on post 2000 plates, although you will find an earlier/older plate posted occasionally, as a great find in a particular year. The only souvenir type plates that have been posted are related to the meets of license plate collectors.
